Holes
Learn how to play the Ninth hole with confidence. The Ninth hole at Falcon Golf Club plays at 218 yards with a carry over water and was voted by News Channel 15 as one of the hardest par threes in the State. The first thing to do is to visualize your golf shot, select your club and then stay committed to your shot. Sounds easy, but if you keep it simple and play to your strengths you will achieve better scoring.

Drives

Better driving might come by simply making an equipment change or by seeing your favorite teaching professional. Most of the time, problems occur with the driver from trying to hit the ball too hard and too far. On your next round of golf try to focus on an area in the fairway, slow down your swing and find a tempo that will put the ball in play.

Putts

Improve your putting by checking two areass in your set-up and your stroke. In set-up make sure your eyes are directly over the ball. This can be checked by setting up to putt, then dropping a ball from under your eyes and then making the necessary changes in your set-up. For more consistent and solid strikes of the ball, make sure you keep your hands ahead of the ball during your stroke.
